Pontiac Pontiac has been revamping its lineup for the last couple years as nameplates like Bonneville, Grand Am, Sunfire have vanished. Now Pontiac calls its models "G" as in G5 (Sunfire-size), G6 (Grand Am), and the new G8 (rear-drive Australian-model). The G8 is significant in the way that it is a rear-drive Australian sedan with BMW styling cues in the interior. It arrives in summer of 2007 as an early 2008 model. Its success may depend on the revival of the next generation GTO.
Saturn Like Jeep, Saturn is rapidly expanding its lineup. Stunning designs as GM places high emphasis on sharing the Opel and Saturn models. This spring brings the Astra subcompact; a stylish model replacing the Ion. The Outlook Crossover vehicle is introduced as is a new stylish VUE model. The Aura sedan continues with great reviews and sales success. The SKY continues as the stylish top-line model for Saturn, especially the 260-horsepower 160 mph Red Line Roadster version which is now on sale in very limited numbers.
